Franklin Park

Named one of the Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania, with top schools, parks, and well-kept suburban homes.

Franklin Park was recently named "The Best Place to Live" in Pennsylvania by USA Today and 24/7 Wall Street.  The writers cited the high median household income, the number of people with bachelor's degrees, along with the low crime rate.  Franklin Park is a suburb just north of Pittsburgh with 14,000 residents.  Most residents own their homes.  There is a rural feel to the area, with plenty of green space, rolling hills and well kept suburban developments.  Most homes sit on large lots ranging from 1/4 acre to an acre of land.

The schools are also excellent!  Children attend North Allegheny School District which is consistently ranked at one of the top school districts in Pittsburgh and one of the top school districts in Pennsylvania.  There are restaurants, coffee shops, and parks nearby.  It's also a short commute to downtown Pittsburgh.
