Ross Township is one of the best places to live in Pennsylvania.  This northern Pittsburgh suburb of about 30,000 people is close to the city with plenty of shopping, restaurants, bars and parks.  The area is fairly densely populated with most residents owning their homes.  It is home to many retirees and is also extremely popular with young professionals who want good schools and a short commute into the city.  Housing prices are more affordable than some of the other northern suburbs.  North Hills School District is consistently ranked in the top 20 school districts in the Pittsburgh metro area.
