Cranberry Township

Cranberry is known for its shopping & restaurants as well as newer homes and lower taxes than Allegheny County.

Cranberry Township is an affluent northern suburb of Pittsburgh in Butler County, Pennsylvania.  It is one of the fastest growing areas in metropolitan Pittsburgh, with rapid expansion and lots of new construction of single-family homes, townhouses, patio homes and retirement communities.  The population is expected to reach 50,000 by 2030.  Cranberry Township is known for its shopping, with easy access to all the major big box stores as well as many specialty stores and restaurants. 

Taxes are lower in Butler County than they are in Allegheny County making it an attractive place to live.  Houses are newer and prices are lower as you get farther away from downtown Pittsburgh.
